The Enterprise Research Campus (ERC), is a dynamic, mixed-use development in the heart of Boston’s Allston neighborhood, transforming a long-underutilized vacant lot into a vibrant neighborhood. The first phase of the ERC will encompass cutting-edge lab space, 343 rental residences – 25% of which will be affordable, a 246-key hotel, the David Rubenstein Treehouse conference center, and nearly 3 acres of publicly-accessible open space. Tishman Speyer has partnered with the Harvard-Allston Land Company on this hub for creativity, research, and culture. The ERC is adjacent to the Harvard Business School and Harvard Science and Engineering Complex and will include local retail and actively programmed open spaces that will host an array of public events, such as farmer’s markets, concerts, and outdoor fitness classes.
Tishman Speyer has also made DE&I a priority in all facets of this development, addressing the lack of investment opportunities offered to minorities by assembling one of the largest inclusionary investor initiatives in city history by bringing over 150 Black and Hispanic individuals and households, including local Bostonians, into ownership of the ERC through a cumulative investment of over $30 million. TS has also set DE&I goals for its procurement process in an effort to afford new opportunities for MBE/WBEs to gain valuable experience in the pre-construction and construction phases of the project.
Join us for a hard hat tour of this exciting project followed by an after-hour at Allston Speedway!
